Facebook decides with its algorithm what I see and what not, what I read and what not. It stores every key I press, every like I set, every page I watch. I tracks me, spies on me and tries to influence me if not manipulate me.
In the literal sense of the word, Facebook frames the content I see. What is outside the frame, I even don’t know if it might exist. Facebook exercises power very much like the famous saying by Fox News “the news are what we tell them the news are.”
I do not want to depend on a multi-billion dollar company that is run by one single guy whose algorithms are changed without my knowledge.
I therefore decided to close my Facebook account.
